The Product - Wheela Trolley
Wheela Trolley is a simple invention to help people in the UK move their recycled waste with ease.
To help households in the UK recycle they’re giving a small box to put their recyclable material in, then each week the local authority comes and collects the box, much like they do with the rubbish, just in a separate box.

The Problem - Hard To Move Recyclable Boxes
The boxes that are provided are generally kept in people’s houses or near their front door. The night before households are expected to put their box near the street so it’s easy for the bin men to collect.
The problem with this is the boxes are usually quite heavy and tough to move especially for the elderly or disabled.
The Solution - Light Weight Trolley
Steph Chamberlin had the simple solution to create a trolley that would hook under the box’s lip, therefore making the boxes moveable on wheels.
It cuts out the lifting, bending and carrying and so helping people with bad backs.
The Market - UK wide
Most local authorities use these boxes in the UK and Steph has already sold her invention to parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and England.
The trolley can also be used for boxes and crates people have in their home and office.
Currently - On sale
The product has been on sale for the last 4 years and has already won an award (Business idea of the year 2004).

Love Inventions Says
Simple solution to a problem that affects many. I for one hate the end of the week when I have to move my box down to the kerb as it’s normally wet and dirty, having this trolley would stop me from having to touch it.
What’s more it’s great to see an inventor promoting their products to different markets. Steph sells to local authorities in bulk but also to the individual consumer.
I would suggest the main focus for this product has to be promoting it and get it in as many shops as possible, from DIY to office supplies.
